100 Days of Successfully Watching More Anime

This series is my occasional countdown to Anime Weekend Atlanta. I’ve done it two or three times with varying levels of success, and I am once again embarking on a quest to spend 100 days writing 100 posts about anime, manga, animation, comics, film, and conventions. We’ll see what happens.

100 Days of Anime 2026

Day 011/100

Theme of the Day: “Inner Universe” by Origa from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (2002)

Currently Watching: Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd Gig

I finally finished my rewatch of the first season of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I’m already starting on the second. I’m also revisiting what this challenge is supposed to be.

Really, I’m just trying to engage in my interests more, spend less time listlessly scrolling on the endless horror platforms. This time around, I think this blog is much more about journaling through my attempts to do that rather than trying to offer some special, salient insights into cartoons and conventions. Those are happy accidents on the road to reading and watching and writing more and scrolling less.

I have also been trying to get 10,000 steps in every day for the last few months. I don’t succeed every day, but I am learning to value consistency over perfection. Moving every day and writing every day, even if I don’t achieve the intended results, is better than having failed to move or write.

That’s all I got. Until next time.
